Terms of Service

The service

Prompt Intelligence Studio analyses prompts you submit and produces scores, feedback and rewritten versions. By default this uses Local Rules, a free, unlimited, on-device deterministic engine. You may optionally provide your own API key for OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini to get AI-generated analysis instead — see AI Transparency for the difference.

Acceptable use

• Don't submit content that is illegal, or use the service to produce content intended to harm others.
• Don't attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer for abuse, or resell access to this service.
• Don't submit other people's personal or confidential information without the right to do so, especially when using a direct provider key, where that data leaves this site entirely.

Third-party providers (BYOK)

If you use your own API key, you are entering a separate relationship directly with that provider (OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic or Google). We do not operate, proxy, or have visibility into those requests. Their availability, uptime, model behaviour, rate limits, quotas, pricing and terms are entirely theirs, can change at any time, and are outside our control. We make no guarantee that any provider will accept a request from a browser, or that a given model will remain available or priced as shown.

AI output

Local Rules output is deterministic and rules-based, not AI-generated. BYOK output is generated by your selected provider's model: it is a suggestion, not a guarantee — it can be wrong, and the same prompt can produce different BYOK results on repeat runs or across providers. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output, from either path, before relying on it.

Your content

You keep all rights to the prompts you submit and the optimised versions you receive. We claim no ownership of either. For Local Rules, your content never leaves your device. For BYOK, your content is handled under your chosen provider's own terms.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as-is. Features and these terms may change; material changes will be reflected on this page and in the changelog.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the service, reliance on any output (Local Rules or BYOK), or the availability, cost, or behaviour of any third-party provider you choose to use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales, which governs these terms.
