Free prompt optimiser
Amazon Listing Prompt Optimiser
Structure a prompt for Amazon product titles, bullet points and descriptions so the AI output matches your category, keywords and compliance needs.
Runs with Local Rules, free, in your browser — no sign-up needed.
What this optimiser checks
- Whether the product's category, size, materials or use case are stated
- Whether the target keywords or search terms are given
- Whether Amazon's format constraints (title length, bullet count) are specified
- Whether the requested output format matches what you'll paste into Seller Central
- Whether compliance or restricted-claim boundaries are set
Example prompt
Write an Amazon listing for my stainless steel water bottle.
A prompt like "write an Amazon listing for my stainless steel water bottle" leaves out the details that actually differentiate a listing: capacity, insulation claims, target keywords, and Amazon's own title and bullet-length limits. Without them, the AI output usually needs a full rewrite before it's usable.
Local Rules rewrites the prompt to require product specifics and target keywords up front, and to state the output format explicitly — for example, one title under 200 characters plus five bullet points — so the response can go straight into a listing draft instead of back through another round of edits.
Frequently asked questions
- Does this check Amazon's listing policies for me?
- No — it improves the structure and specificity of your prompt. You're still responsible for checking the AI-generated listing text against Amazon's current style guide and restricted-claims rules before publishing.
- Can I generate bullet points and a title separately?
- Yes. Run the optimiser once per section (title, bullets, description) with the specific output format you need for each, since combining all three in one vague prompt usually produces a worse result than three focused ones.
- Will it know my exact product dimensions or certifications?
- No — it only works with what you type into the prompt. Include the specifics you want reflected (size, material, certifications) and the rewrite will place them in the Context and Requirements sections.
